This Japanese white pine (five-needle pine) grows naturally in tiers. The needles of PINUS parviflora ‘Negishi’ are blue. In Japan, it is often used to create Niwaki (cloud tree, Japanese pruning). It is an excellent conifer to bring horizontal lines to the Garden. This pine is easy to grow and develops also pine cones which will remain decorative for many months.
