Garden tools

A good gardening tool can be a companion for a whole life. Therefore, we have chosen at Vallonchêne® Swiss (FELCO) and Japanese (OKATSUNE) brands, famous for their quality, precision and long lasting life-cycle. Secateurs, for example, exist for big and small hands as well as for left handed and right handed people. Those tools are real high tech objects. OKATSUNE uses carbon and even Teflon to improve them.

The secateur is a French creation. The Marquis de Molleville, former minister of Louis XVI in exil in England, had invented this useful tool and brought back to France afterwards. The first track (1819)  can be found in “LE BON JARDINIER”.

Swiss and Japanese secateurs have a high precision of cutting and keep this faculty for many, many years. Some of our own secateurs in use at Vallonchêne® are more than 15 years old. We can confirm that they still cut like on the first day of use.
