This panicled hydrangea develops large, immaculate white flowers which is quite rare for this hydrangea family. Then the flowers of HYDRANGEA paniculata ‘Vanille Fraise’ take on a very bright pink color (see photo). Hydrangea paniculata are the only hydrangeas that can be planted in full sun. Do not hesitate to prune this plant quite severely at the end of winter. It will produce even larger flowers.
