BRASSAIOPSIS hispida<\/strong> geh\u00f6rt wie BRASSAIOPSIS mitis<\/a><\/strong> oder BRASSAIOPSIS hainla<\/a><\/strong> zweifellos zu DEN Sammlerpflanzen der letzten Jahre. Sie geh\u00f6ren zur Familie der Araliengew\u00e4chse (Araliaceae).
\nDas Laub des BRASSAIOPSIS hispida ist immergr\u00fcn<\/strong>, ziemlich dick<\/strong>, leicht behaart<\/strong> und von blassgr\u00fcner Farbe. Jedes Blatt hat 9 bis 11 gro\u00dfe Lappen und erreicht einen Durchmesser von etwa vierzig Zentimetern. Die Blattstiele sind 20 bis 40 cm lang.
\nDer frische Austrieb im Fr\u00fchling ist besonders bemerkenswert und unterscheidet sich deutlich vom ausgewachsenen Blatt. Er hat n\u00e4mlich eine auff\u00e4llig bronzene Farbe<\/strong> (siehe Foto).
